We are committed to improving the accessibility of digital services
The accessibility competence of the City of Turku is developed systematically and resolutely. The current web services will be evaluated by the City’s accessibility contractors. Based on the evaluation, the accessibility of services will be developed to meet the requirements of the law by the deadline set out for each service. In the development and procurement of new web services, accessibility is considered from the beginning. Accessibility training is arranged for all parties participating in the development of web services and in the production of their content. The City has an ongoing project called Fulfilment of the Requirements of the Accessibility Act.
We provide support to users for whom digital services are inaccessible
Digital support is available at the City’s Monitori Market Square and Monitori Skanssi service points and in libraries.
